For some of these folks, it's a race to the bottom.
I have my share of complaints about Obama, but I truly cannot understand some people's negative obsession with his wife.
Its indicative of much larger problem with folks like that.
It never ceases to amaze me just how nasty and vicious the "family values conservative" crowd can be when it comes to discussing the First Family. Despite the fact that many Americans did not care for some of the decisions of George W Bush, anyone would be hard-pressed to find the same type of dirty attacks directed at Laura Bush (or any other First Lady, for that matter) that are thrown at Michelle Obama. It is disgusting that Republicans view this as acceptable. And those Republicans who have the audacity to call themselves Christians need to do a gut check on their unChristian behavior.
That's because Laura Bush is a real American and a real lady, not someone who was married to hide her husbands true sexual preference...
