Has O'bama officially declared he is running?

The longer he waits, the more the tax payer has to pay for his travel and speaking tours.

McCain lost. Badly. If he was gonna b*tchslap someone, it should've been the person that recommended Palin be his running mate.

Valid point. That's what happened to Jimmy Carter when Operation Eagle Claw was a disaster, when he tried to rescue the hostages in Iran.

I'm thinking more about 20 more years (2024) of occupation in Afghanistan
costing billions of American tax dollars and lives, but whatever it takes...

to make Obama a one termer

Actually Carter was responsible for rescuing the hostages in Iran.
Do you actually think Reagan did "all that" minutes after being Pres...

What ever one thinks of Carter, give credit where credit is due.

I did know about that. However, Operation Eagle Claw's failure seriously damaged his reelection chances that year.

I like Jimmy Carter, and I'm a Democrat--but Eagle Claw (the rescue mission) was a failed enterprise, largely for reasons that weren't Carter's fault.

The ayatollah released the hostgages minutes after Reagan was inaugurated as a diss to Carter. So while Carter gets no credit for their release, neither does Reagan.
