Do you even believe that such a thing could happen here? I really believe it but think I have some time before the city folk find us out here in the sticks find us to steal our food, clothing and such and haven't fully armed our house yet, but we have started so as to be ready.

Americans Preparing for Possible Collapse*|*Godfather Politics

How well are you prepared if our nation’s government and economy collapses and anarchy takes its place? Where is your money stored? Do you have a place to go where you will be safer than in your own home? Do you have supplies stored up to help you survive the day store shelves go bare?

Or do you believe that everything will be okay and that thousands of Americans are over reacting and that there is nothing to fear? Are you willing to take that chance with your family?

I think that's putting too much importance on just Obama.

There will still be that over $15 trillion national debt and there are still the very large and very fast growing welfare programs, and there is still NAFTA and all those jobs that went to China and not many politicians want to address the problems of massive immigration.

It won't matter who replaces Obama if those problems don't get addressed.

The economy collapsed after 9/11 happened. We are just living in the aftermath. Let's not be ignorant and gullible.

I think the economy has already collapsed decades ago in places like Detroit. Approximately 50% of Detroit is unemployed. Houses sell for a dollar in many of the city's dilapidated neighborhoods. Detroit has been named as one of the top ten most dangerous cities in the world based on analysis of pure numbers and statistics. If the top ten most dangerous cities in the world list were actually calculated based on violent crime stats, Detroit would rank as the third most dangerous city on the planet. Could Detroit really get any worse? Sadly, probably.

Detroit's Unemployment Rate Is Nearly 50%, According to the Detroit News

I think when the collapse truly hits. The millions of Americans on foodstamps will just stop getting benefits and our overbloated government will no longer be able to employ millions of people at bloated salaries. Almost 20% of federal employees make over 100K a year.

When the economy collapses, millions of people won't even have money for food because they can no longer have access to foodstamps. Keep in mind that 15% of the population is currently on foodstamps and one out of every five children relies on foodstamps to eat.

My only advice for the economic collapse is to get guns. If you live in a big city, you might be screwed. Look at how people are acting already and things haven't gotten that bad yet. Downtown Oakland looked like a warzone at the Occupy protests a month ago. How do you think people are going to act when things keep getting worse?

I really fear that we can't get rid of him and his buddies in the Senate soon enough. When the Euro goes into defunct status the dollar will be very close behind.

Oh my God,

You are dying. I didn't know that Obama's jobs bill proposal has made life so terrible for you and your family.

NOTE: The economic collapse occured after the 2006 Democratic Congress voted to allow folks who couldn't afford homes - to buy homes.

Major failure.

Who should we blame? You figure it out.

You have a few days. The auction of U.S. securities begins on 11/28/2011.

Buckle up.
