Scott Brown Uses Part of Obamacare - The Daily Beast

Hypocrite alert! GOP Sen. Scott Brown's 23 yr old daughter (Ayla, of American Idol fame) gets her health insurance by riding along on daddy's policy, courtesy of Obamacare, which Brown has already voted to repeal.

Don't you think that, as a matter of principle, if you think a law is unconstitutional, you maybe ought not to personally avail yourself of its provisions?

Aren't you happy that Obamacare allowed that ?

My son's friend is 20 and under her parents insurance as she has no job. She's about to have her second baby. It's all covered though thanks to Obamacare.

How stuff like this is SAVING us money is beyond me.

Hey..you pass the bill then EVERYONE is entitled to make good on it. Can't cheery pick "only your team" to reap the benefits.

Not all insurances cover birth. You do pay to cover her, so she could have gotten her own policy I would think.
Of course if you are a government employee even when you add on of your children they are paid for AGAIN in part by the taxpayer, so that is bad anyway.

I know my sister pays a nice penny to cover her son and daughter, don't know they couldn't get coverage themselves for the same cost.

I think this was the best part of the Obama health care plan. Both of my kids benefit from more affordable group coverage than they could get on their own since neither of their employers offer it.

"If we like something we should take advantage of it and bring it back to Massachusetts."

Um okay.

What a crock of s***! Medicare is for the elderly, who have paid into it. Medicaid is for the totally destitute.

Our daughter is a part time student, thus couldn't get ins. through her school. She's on our policy. She will be 25 in July. When she was working full time, she got ins. through her employer.

Tex, IIRC, your son is over 18 and on your policy, no?
