Anyone could put up a website. I have done research into far left groups and have had contact with them (just as I said earlier in the thread that someone living in 1920s Chicago would have inevitably had contact with gangsters, someone living in Los Angeles and San Francisco would inevitably have contact with radical left groups). The CPUSA have less than a thousand members most of whom are very elderly and who are concentrated in the northeast. They are so weak they no longer run candidates. They are no longer even the largest communist group - the Socialist Workers Party is the largest one right now (I notice you aren't as concerned with the SWP ; perhaps you're sympathetic to the SWP? ) The days of Earl Browder are long, long gone.

All those different Marxist groups put together are pretty small. And the chances of them ever working together are very, very slim. They hate each other more than they hate capitalists. If you read their publications they hold grudges against the other groups over insignificant minutiae dating back decades. They are more of an annoyance than a danger, with the possible exception of the RCP because they are known to use violence - but even the RCP are more pathetic than dangerous. If you think those groups are truly dangerous then you're assuming there's some sort of "silent majority" of Marxists existing in the US just waiting to emerge from the shadows. There is no evidence this is true (and if it was then US politics and society would be considerably different)

Sponsor how? Are they giving money? Going door to door? Sitting back and saying "you go girls!" ?

What do you think sponsoring the Occupy Wallstreet Movement means?

Are any of these groups you think have no power listed in that list? If so, and they surely are, then they don't disagree about everything it seems.

That you want to put an end to corporate greed and corruption.

It's a very rational stance seeing as how our entire economy was nearly wrecked due to speculators taking huge risk.

You need to stop listening to the propaganda and educate yourself on what really caused the economic collapse. The corporations didn't cause it. Our own government and Federal Reserve caused it. Laws were changed, regulators stopped doing their jobs and the Federal reserve stopped regulating interest rates and kept them very low (still). This goes back to the Clinton Administration and through the Bush administration so it was bipartisan. This economic collapse was planned and executed by politicians and the world central banks and the elites who own them. Blaming corporate greed was started by the same politicians that caused the economic collapse as a way to shift blame, distract attention and to further collapse the system for their ultimate goal ... to destroy capitalize, destroy the Constitution ... destroy the American system ... create regime change!!! The American people are being played like a fiddle and totally screwed. We will lose everything, our homes, our assets, our money, our rights and for many ... our lives. They have you and all the liberal convinced that changing the system is what's needed and now you are helping destroy your own lives ... thinking this is the right thing.

Sounds like you don't have much disagreement with the views of the Occupy movement, considering that the major target of its ire is corporatism - the union of government and big business.

So why the hostility? I bet if you talked to Occupiers you'd find yourself on the same page on many if not most issues.
