Wolf Blitzer is well past his prime. The guy is a bore and that "situation room" is hideously colored in some off-red tone that irritates the eye. Brighten the set and dump Wolf for someone who is still breathing. CNN has the best coverage when something is happening, but most of the time when things aren't their relatively unbiased (compared with FOX and MSNBC) reporting just doesn't attract and hold viewers who don't care strongly about politics.
Not surprising at all and kind of rewarding! They want to manipulate and control the news and withhold what they done like to help obama and people don't want censorship they want the news to decide for themselves what is relevant and what is not.
I can understand why they have low ratings given today's climate.
Still, why do normal, everyday people care about network ratings? It's not like you're receiving a check no matter how well any given network does?
It's like the fans of Fox telling everyone how great Fox is doing. Ok...but are they sending you a check? If not, why do you care and why are you bragging about it?
Fox news slants slightly conservative? Try so far to the right it’s practically unwatchable by the sane minded.
"Everyone knows that Fox slants slightly conservative; MSNBC slants heavily liberal."
ohhhhhhh, so you DO watch Fox. I mean, how else would you know?
Actually, Fox always, always has both sides on and they discuss. Occasionally I watch smidgens of MSNBC strictly for laughs, and they never, ever have both sides on.

Your argument: FAIL!
Fox's definition of "both sides": ultra right wing nutjobs for the "fair and balanced" perspective, and one no-name center/right person on the fox payroll that is the "liberal" view
MSNBC's definition of "both sides": Having legitimate people from the left, and right on to have honest discussions on the issues.
CNN has a liberal bias and consider there is ONE conservative TV news medium and about a hundred liberal news outlets, it only makes sense that CNN won't hold onto its numbers...
These two blithering idiots have managed to drag CNN down to their dumb-and-dumber level.
When Larry King retired CNN hired that moonfaced plonker Piers Morgan to replace him.
After that abomination I saw no reason to turn in to watch CNN again.
