CNN is best for breaking news like natural disasters.
Their politics seems to be the same stuff from show to show, with the same old guests thrown in. Paul Begala is fun to watch with the sound off as his mouth writhes and contorts so that he looks like Joker from Batman, lol. Roland Martin is also fun to watch sans sound as he seems to throw an epileptic fit when someone says something he disagrees with. He really should just be on radio as he can't seem to look professional during the shows.
Anderson Cooper has the uncanny ability to lead with the wrong story. How many viewers care that some unknown and irrelevant state senator from some southern state said a derogatory word about a gay or minority group when more important news events are happening that day?

And yes they need a new program for Independents. The 900 stations on satellite do not have one decent broadcast.
This is likely why CNN is doing badly in the ratings is because they report actual unbiased news and not partisan bickering and name calling. People seem to just want to hear what they want to hear and don't want to know actual facts.

It's on cable, I suspect the number of people who subscribe to cable has dropped. I don't have cable anymore, so I can't watch CNN, not that I did in the first place.
