Million Moms is a hate group, this isnt the first thread about them on here.
So, you think JCP should bow to pressure from a hate group?
Glad you're not my stockbroker.
Why do they even care? It's an ad. There are ads of straight people holding hands, wearing wedding rings, making out, etc. all the time. Why is it such a big deal just cause it's two women?
Smart lesbians like good men...dumb lesbians hate all men. Lesbians in general just don't enjoy stupid brute males...I asked a young lesbian with a "partner"---if she found the same qualities in a man that she found in her lesbian lover- would she go for the man- she said "yes"- I don't like terms like lesbian and gay...they are political and restrictive,
Are you sure she wasn't bisexual?
Being lesbian isn't about trying to send a political message. It's about who you fall in love with. Every time you date someone, are you trying to tell the world that "straight is right"? Or do you just find yourself attracted to whomever you're attracted to? It's the same for lesbians. We just fall for who we fall for, and that just happens to be women.
Showing ads with lesbians or endorsing political candidates who support same-sex marriage is sending a political message. There's a difference.
Yes, you would think it would be smarter for businesses to just remain neutral and avoid pushing any particular agenda.
I thought about this with the Chik-Fil-A endorsing anti-gay organizations...and after reading CD thread after CD thread of "I'm definitely going to Chik-Fil-A now!" from anti-gay posters, I realized that taking a political stance can actually gain you as many customers as it costs you.

Well --- like another poster said - a business has a right to push any agenda it likes -- but you question if it's a wise business move. Time will tell on this one.
I believe Gays have the right to Marry, place ads in a paper,ONLINE etc etc. I do not agree with their lifestyle or pushing being born gay. HOWEVER Homosexuals have rights just as you and I. Just because we Do not agree with something or fully understand it doesn't make it wrong.
How has J. C. Penney come so far from decency to this. My mother told me years ago about a company that gave $9 of every $10 it made to charity. Now it seems to be launching a war on decent people that do not want a weird America for their children. I certainly will not be shopping there again--not that I ever found anything to buy before.
