For being such a serious candidate, it's kind of hilarious that Obama lacks the ability to get more military donations than a nobody like Paul more times than not.

They went to war with Dubya but didn`t get any medals for bar stool hemorrhoids.

Obama has pulled us out of war. You got the Chicken part correct, but not the Hawk part.

Although Obama has been effective in foreign relations, he has not been hawkish. Certainly not to the extent that Romney's rhetoric would lead people to believe he would be.

The military relates to Ron Paul because he actually served his country, unlike many politicians we elect to office.

Sure, and the fact that he is not an imperalist warmonger...hence why Romney is not getting much money.

So the DOD and the Army brass wanted O'bama to keep funding their retirement fund...

Paul clearly has the support of the boots. The Brass is no different than a typical politician.

Is the US Dept of defense, really the military, or just a government agency?

Regardless of this, the thread/article/op is implying the military no longer supports Paul. What's really happening is they're supporting the incumbent over Romney. It's typical to support the incumbent, supporting Paul was atypical.. The exception and not the rule.

IDT this matters one bit any way you slice it.

Paul supporters won't vote for Obama, or Romney.

he strange part is that mnay of these folks if true will be support being out of a job soon because the military under Obama is goig to be cut to a shaddow of what it curently is. kind of writing their own pink slips.

I can't imagine being in the military and supporting Romney over Obama. Not only does Obama have a number of successes with military operations, I would think he'd relate a lot better to the average soldier. What the hell would Romney know about the working class? He wants nothing to do with them.
