This guy has a lot to overcome with national government unions spending probably 300 million dollars against him from money they NEVER should have been given from the taxpayers.
Corporate money coming from out of State to Scott Walker......VASTLY overwhelms the revenue of all four Democrats.
According to almost all the polls, it looks like he will remain in office.
Scott Walker is a courageous man - he has the will to do what is unpopular and has consistently stood up to those who opposed him. And his reforms are working.
I think he's too socially conservative, but I greatly admire him standing up to the unions among other things. He is a hero.
Why do you say he is courageous.....because half the state opposes him yet he does what he wants anyway And what reforms of his are working. You think someone like that is a hero.....really? Heros should be held at a much higher standard then what you bestow on Walker.

The Koch Brothers?? Five years ago, few people, even among those familiar with journalism and statecraft, had even heard of them. The Koch agenda has been well known for decades going all the way back to the Koch's father, whom was the co-founder of the radical right wing John Birth Society.
The Koch's also have had secret bi-yearly meetings for years with GOP politicians, federal supreme court justices, and other corporatist such as themselves.
Also key provisions to fascism, is that labor power is to be suppressed, while corporate power is to be embraced.
What we are witnessing in Wisconsin with Walker up and beyond coordinates with what an anti-american fascist agenda is all about.

Gov. Walker has done a very good job balancing the budget. No teachers have been laid off and more teachers have been hired. The big savings came from allowing the local school districts to buy the medical insurance on the open market vice being forced to buy the union medical insurance. It is a real scandal that the union was forcing the taxpayers to buy their overpriced insurance.

I thought it was a real crock that my daughters grandmother, as a teacher only had to pay $1 to get a prescription and nothing for her doctors visit.
she used to brag to me about her having to pay almost nothing for medical. guess she thought it was her due after being a teacher for 30+ years.
In spite of the idiotic OP....BRAVO to Governor Walker. He did what he HAD to do to save the majority of the people of that State from a SHARP tax increase that would go to pay for the pampered public union employees benefits.
Tough decisions must be made in government, and sometimes they are unpopular. But people elect politicans to office so that they may govern in the BEST INTERESTS OF THE PEOPLE. That is exactly what he did. I wish the clowns in washington had that same attitude.
He WILL be confirmed as governor.
