The advertisers running the Republican campaigns realize that when dealing with uncritical people perception is far more important than fact. By continuously accusing president Obama of made up 'crimes" they create a perception of incompetence where none is justified. Disproving a negative is more difficult than "proving" one.

The Dark Side of The Force is a pathway to many abilities, some consider to be unnatural...
Excellent topic. Efforts to shout down the OP for bringing up a four-year-old topic should remind us of Santayana's famous quote: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." So often the left gets an F in history.
As an illustration, we had a very similar situation in Seattle just a months ago when a judge tossed a gun ban for city parks that had been enacted by ultra-liberal Mayor Greg Nickels, and continued by his ultra-lib successor Mike McGinn. State law is crystal clear that local gov'ts can't enact their own gun laws, so everyone knew this ban would be tossed, and it was. The city had to take down 116 metal signs it had put up in parks with a pic of a gun in a red circle with a red slash. A reporter thought the signs might be collectors items, but a parks spokesman was doubtful that anyone would want them. Oh, puhleeeez. If the guy wanted to be (fake) outraged at something, why didn't he post the attempted gun ban in Tampa during the scheduled GOP convention? His Google must be busted.
Many people don't know or remember what Proposition H was but basically, it was an attempt by the city of San Francisco to ban gun sales and possession within city limits.
................
In October 2008, San Francisco was forced to pay a $380,000 settlement to the National Rifle Association and other plaintiffs to cover the costs of litigating Proposition H.
Stereotype much. Not all liberals are against guns nor does one city represent the overall group of people. Somehow I suspect if this were 40 years ago you'd be writing posts about how you hate certain other groups.

LOL, Is this why you people are so unsuccessful as disproving them?
