Now old Bristol Palin is getting ready to have a son and will name this one, Colt 45. That SOB is causing Obama much more trouble with this crap than he can ever do the man good. It is time for you people to cut down on him and stop watching him but most of you can't do that if you have cable, can you?
I like Bill Maher more than I like Barack Obama. Quite a bit more, in fact. There are 3 or 4 things about which I think he's flat-out crazy, but he always says what he believes. So I couldn't care less if he gives the Pres. a headache or two. People aren't going to change their vote because of which comedian endorsed which politician.
So here we have a story from the competitor of Fox News that seems to always be far below Fox in viewership throwing out this story about their leanings. Did you read the whole thing? After they got started it was a report of who gave what to who in 2010. It seemed that News Corp gave a little less to most of the Republicans than to Democrats although pretty close to balance was maintained.
$1 million to the Republican Governors Association by News Corp compared to $1 million by Maher to Obama's campaign sounds just a little bit shifty to me. I wonder when old Rupert will advance the same amount to Romney.
All you have to do to regain some small measure of dignity is to show a rough equivalence between an HBO comic and a major media source that trumpets itself as "fair and balanced."

I think you take Bill Maher more serious than most liberals. I understand he’s a dirty-mouthed comedian. The Palin jokes are some of the nicer things I’ve heard come out of his mouth.

royboy doesn't understand ... comedy. Never has. Palin is a w h o r e, of sorts. And I don't think she'll deny that. She rules a dysfunctional family. Loose-sex daughter. Bi-sexual husband. The manner in which she discarded her youngest during the last campaign is worthy of scorn. She's worthy of having a bulls-eye tatooed to her back ... to make fun of.
Picking on someone's sexual behavior as support for your argument just shows how low you are. Had this been a job interview, you would be sued for discrimination.
History has proven again and again, 1) the seemingly virtuous politicians are nothing but bunch of hypocrites, and 2) sexual preference or behavior or promiscuity has nothing to do with the ability to lead.
You certainly put out a good example of prog behavior there with all the name calling for Rush and the support for Maher. You weren't around when Obama said, in 2008, that using candidate's families in that manner wasn't fair. It was the Palins in question back then, too. Yep, when Maher pulls that name calling you people love it but when Rush used just one of the Maher type names on that Fluke "woman" you went wild. DOUBLE STANDARD much?
Of course there is, there are two different standards out there, and we all gosh dang know it by now.
One is perfectly acceptable and excuses made for it, while the other, is made an example of, and put down so abusive, and raked thru the coals.
There is a bias out there, pretend it don't exist, it does and u all know it does.
I do remember when Obama made that statement in 2008 of not using a candidate's family in an unfair manner infact i have it on tape. Along with his other lies.
Unless someone is making fun of someone in your family then of course it becomes not so accepted.
There is a Double Standard that is very much accepted, and to say it isn't is a plain lie.
