Just like the gays would love to be able to marry.

No doubt there's Muslims in this country, and tons of cads who would love to have polygamy.

If Romney goes in office - who knows?

What other consenting adults do is none of my business or is it the business of the government. Would I do it, very doubtful, but one never knows where life can lead a person down the road, so long as everyone is happy nothing else really matters.

Based on this criticism monogamy should be outlawed too.

Harmful to society?

I tell you what is really harmful to society. Gay marriage, which has no possible way of producing offspring. Before you say polygamy is harmful to society, criticize gay marriage first.

The next harmful thing is divorce, which is simply to dissolve a marriage and break up a family. Divorce makes the idea of marriage and family completely meaningless. I would vote to outlaw either marriage or divorce.

Before the Christian pushed their own monogamy agenda to other parts of the world with colonization and battleships, most of the world were polygamous. Read some history and read some non-European history.

Tax and child support? I think most would agree that fostering the children is the responsibility of the parents. So no problem. You want have children? You pay for it. Moving to a consumption based tax will address all tax and fairness issue, which we need to do anyway.

In reality, allowing polygamy is a great way to redistribute the wealth of the rich.

You claim it's "harmful" but produce no evidence to support the claim. Plenty of heterosexual marriages produce no offspring, are those also bad?
