You post makes no sense. The Bishop should shut his trap but everybody has a right to have an opinion. Maybe you are tired.

Not all gays are pedophiles, but all men going after boys would be gay pedophiles. So there is some truth to the statements, but you can't lump all gays into the mix, that would be hateful indeed.
The high divorce rate does far more to undermine marriage and society than gay marriage. Religious people seldom complain about that. Instead, they want to scapegoat a tiny minority, homosexuals, for the ills of society.
You are of course speaking about great society programs.
They have caused lots of grief.
Before the great society programs blacks were Republicans with two parent households 85+% of the time. Has things gotten better or worse?

Absolutely false, and proven so. Most pedophiles have no adult orientation. Those that do, are overwhelmingly heterosexual (and married, and religious).
Gay men are attracted to masculinity. Straight men are attracted to feminine qualities. Young boys are more feminine and much more like young girls.
No quality of young boys would be attractive to your typical gay man.

I'm sure cardinal Dolan wouldn't mind seeing the "church" give up its tax exempt status for commenting on US GOVERNMENT decisions/endorsements.

Sigh ... the people like you who constantly decry individuals of a religious persuasion who exercise their freedom of speech have very likely never read the federal rules and regulations that define political actions and what NPC's like churches can and cannot do. Is it too much to ask you to educate yourself on a topic before you attempt to discuss it? Until you familiarize yourself with the rules - you will not understand that churches generally are in full compliance with the law, and that Cardinal Dolan is fully able to make the statement that he made.
