I found Germans to be much more sociable than most Americans, and they can certainly teach Americans a thing or two about how to party.

You can't compare German with American culture.

One is a peaceful culture and one is a gang-banging culture.

Hell, Europeans even come over here two experience our gang culture.

Around the world Americans are viewed as friendly, but selfish. Not creepy. I'd agree with selfish.
