Most of the news today is like reading a copy of The Enquirer. It's either superficial, homoginized, or sensationalized. It's all about trying to fill the air 24/7. They get stuck on one or two "stories of the Week", and ongoing things American's really need to hear about and know about, they won't talk about.

MSNBC.com is pretty good, but the network itself is pretty terrible.
CNN is just sad. Last time I watched them, they had been reduced to reading random people's tweets on the air.

Fox is the only one that lets both sides pontificate. When was the last time you saw that on MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc etc? Never? That's what I thought.
I occasionally watch MSNBC like I would probably look at a train wreck if I happened upon one. Highly amusing.

I don't know what you are watching but it is very clear that Fox News is by far the most anti-USA channel in the world and all Fox News does is lie and distort reality.
