I wasn't referring to the L.A. Times.

They are making cuts in the WRONG places. Cut the administrative bloat, the public unions bloat FIRST.
Maybe you should run for office.

When you grow up and live on your own you'll realize what it costs to pay your bills. You can't spend more than you bring in.

I love CA and have family there. When you get older you'll understand.

LOL. I've made more than the average Joe for many years. I don't need some goofus on an anonymous forum to tell me how to live and think - but thanks anyway.

Liberals don't believe this anymore. They want more spending, more borrowing, more taxes to pay for both.

Clearly you are wrong.
When Reagan's term(s) as governor ended, California had a surplus budget... it was in the black.

But of course. Easier to get on welfare, welfare checks are larger than in other states, unemployment checks are larger, Wic vouchers and food stamps easy to get, rent assistence, free breakfasts and lunches for your children, etc. Yes indeed, the Marxists running the state are only too happy to provide these things, even more so if you are an illegal alien. The only problem is, these dolts do not realize or will not accept the fact, that California is out of other people's money, and that the day of reckoning is very close at hand.

It will be interesting to watch when they have to start cutting back on all the welfare.

There will be riots in LA just like 20 years ago.

Don't bet on it. The Dems will just tax the legal citizens more to pay for it. They can't cut entitlements to those who don't pay for them and don't deserve them afterall.
