do you read the labels? if you answered yes, it's not YOUR problem!
It is my problem, I should NOT have to spend hours every year checking labels. Everyone else should NOT have to leave it up to a corporation's good will or luck to buy the best food choice. Healthy choice should be the norm with the garbage YOU'RE defending being the exception.

Grow your own food. You have choices. You CHOOSE to shop at the same markets that put that stuff out there so either read the labels or grow your own. Simple stuff until somebody wants the government to do everything for them.
I have an idea. Why don't we implement a system that warns the public about the dangers of corn syrup and coal. We could use different colored lights to illustrate various levels of danger without really telling them what to do when the danger level is high. That way we could keep them afraid and confused at the same time.
I know this a new idea, but it might work.

NOT a fair solution for the blind, reading them labels. We all should be confident that we are getting safe, wholesome food without jumping thru hoops. If you really, REALLY want that garbage you're defending so hard I'm sure the can provide unhealthy choices in a section in the back with the expired food and moldy lettuce.

Don't forget that bushel of bugs and dirt you consume every year in canned and other food stuff. Hell they can't filter and screen everything.... Bon Appetit
So, three pages in and you still haven't proved your assertion that Biden's statement is incorrect. How are we more at risk from terrorism than from the health risks associated with poor diet and environmental pollutants?
Prove that it's true. How many people have "killed by coal" written on their death certificate?
Before you go citing some study that says coal pollution causes X amount deaths, X amount cases of asthma...... blah, blah, blah..... We first have to understand how those numbers arrived at.
These numbers are typically calculated using what is called linear dose assessment which assumes that all pollution is equally as dangerous regardless of exposure. They take known number, for example suppose 10 people fall off a 20 foot ladder and 5 die. From this it is assumed that for every 200 feet an entire population is to fall 5 will die. If 20 people fall off a 10 foot ladder 5 still die, if 40 people fall off a 5 foot ladder 5 still die..... if thousands fall off a ladder that is fractions of inch high 5 still die.
That's how they get those very large numbers when there is no real data.

And they don't write that that cigarette smoke killed anyone.
I know three that died from black lung from mining that clean coal of yours. They didn't write coal killed Lester, Buddy, or Ray.

That would not apply to the general population and would be a different category under health risks by occupation, there's various health risks and general risks associated with any occupation you may choose to pursue.
