Why does the hard left so assiduously defend an oppressive, aggressive regime? A regime which leads the world in capital executions, stones to death women for suspected adultery, hangs gays, murders and imprisons those demonstrating for freedom, is responsible for thousands of deaths and injuries of American soldiers, and enables its murderous proxies from al-Sadr to Hezbullah to Hamas to Assad?
