This one is quite surprising to see, whenever you see the common outbreaks of tea party/GOP violence, it's against someone fighting for freedom and liberty on the left.

It looks like the GOP establishment goons are equal opportunity thugs that will attack anyone that doesn't stand with their extreme right, america destroying agenda, even Ron Paul supporters.

"WASHINGTON, May 14, 2012 — Chaos erupted at the Oklahoma GOP convention on Saturday when supporters of Ron Paul and Mitt Romney came to blows, necessitating the intervention of the police."

"Finally tensions exploded after the controversial vote went against Paul and a Romney supporter allegedly punched a Paul supporter in the back of the head."

I'm sorry, I must be confused. I've seen threads here that say only OWS protestors are violent.

Perhaps, but this "brawl" doesn't come near the violence, stabbings, arson, sexual assaults, thefts, vandalism, and public defecation that characterizes Occupy.

With every "new" thread along these lines, it becomes more apparent that the HardLeft clique at this site are just circling the wagons and preaching to the choir.

Why?? Because you're running scared ... because with every day, the number of people who recognize the cancer upon democracy that is the twisted. one-sided view off the Democrat-Liberal-Radical continuum continues to grow .... and solidify.

Ol' Satchel Paige said it best .... "Don't look over your shoulder; something might be gaining on you."

That was my first reaction.

It seems the Tea Party movement was a "flash in the pan." Like all 'grass roots' movements some of their ideas where co-opted by a major political party (in this case, the GOP) but for the most part it's all ancient history now.

False equivalency. Occupy is not a major political party. Neither are the various Tea Parties. Comparing Occupy to the Republican Party is like comparing apples to the moon.

All this brawl was amounted to a bunch of ill-mannered clots who should never have been delegates in the first place. It just goes to show how far some Republicans in Oklahoma have abandoned any pretense at being civil.

Brawls were common 2 centuries ago in state conventions, but the last brawl that has erupted in any convention was the one during the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago. That one spilled inside the convention hall; there was a riot going on outside.
