You must not try very hard to talk sense to them or surely they would manage to understand that one of the family who is so highly educated, as you are I think, was trying to take them down silly road.
Hey, I know about what you are saying since I had to work very hard to get my Masonic father to vote for Kennedy since he knew Kennedy would turn us over to the Pope. I won out, anyway. We voted for Kennedy because he was a Democrat and my wiser mother voted for Nixon because he was a Republican.
Ain'r it funny how politics works? I mean like me voting for all those men because they weren't socialists in my eyes. Nixon, Eisenhower, Bush I who I still don't like, Bush, and McCain. All of them because I thought all those Dem nominees were just too socialist.
You can't talk sense to someone who doesn't want to listen, which is what I find happens with most of the Fox viewers I meet.
You suffer from "voting against" syndrome, and it is a large part as whats wrong with our political system, and country as a whole. Vote for someone, and if you can't find someone to vote for, write in. Voting against Obama, or against Romney is simply not good enough, anymore.
Oh God no, they are all biased to various degress.
But I and most others don't go on here posting "You must watch this, it'll be his undoing" about fake documentaries either.
While I wouldn't go so far as to say you must watch something. It's also not out of bounds to point out that it may hold some information one might find interesting. I might flip it on in between innings, if a game is on.

The trouble is with Fox, and most cable news operators for that matter, is that they use half truths to connect the dots to things that aren't even in the realm of reality.
Like, "Obama went to college with a leftist professor" followed by "He is a communist".
One thing does not lead to another, and I have no doubt that this "documentary" will be much of the same. Then to come on a forum and say "you must set you DVR, this could bring down the whole administration...."

Ok. If you get any more stories from coworkers or anyone else in an email just toss it. Nothing "breaking" comes in an email. By the time you get it the darn thing has usually been around the globe and back a few times and changed details to suit whoever/whatever you want to target.
