May 16, 2012, Scott Pelley on the CBS news show reported on a story about the Zimmerman/Martin case and they showed a photo of both Zimmerman and Martin side by side. Interestingly the photo was not to scale and George Zimmerman appeared much larger than Martin. The entire news media does the same and none have mentioned the real height of Zimmerman or Martin. The fact is the Martin was 6'3" as opposed to Zimmerman at 5'8". Martin was also involved in sports and we can assume was far better physical condition that Zimmerman.
One can only guess why the news media is distorting the truth in this case. It could be to boost viewership. It could also be a fear of riots. At the same time the tv news media is not reporting incidents where blacks have attacked innocent whites in reaction to the Martin case.
The American people have a right to the truth and with few other choices must rely on the television news media to report completely and accurately. These news stations should be held accountable for their failure to do so.

Zimmerman followed Martin in a car while talking to 911. Even though Zimmerman knew police were coming, Zimmerman with a gun on his person got out of his car and confronted Martin. Zimmerman is responsible for the confrontation so no one should buy his claim of self-defense.
Martin could clearly say he felt threatened by Zimmerman, a man who had been following him in a car while he was on foot, then parked the car and came after him with a gun on his person. I would not blame Martin one bit for fighting Zimmerman in self-defense; I would have done the same thing. So, even if it is true that Zimmerman got wounds from Martin, who the heck can blame Martin? He was pursued in a vehicle and then by foot by a man who was bound and determined to confront him.
Zimmerman cannot claimed he killed Martin in self-defense when he started to lose a fist fight that he started by unnecessarily confronting Martin. And in this situation, it really doesn't matter who swung first, as we can clearly see from what we do know it was Zimmerman who started the whole confrontation. If Zimmerman had just let police handle it, and stayed in his car, none of this would have happened.

Zimmerman was 250lbs and 5'9, Martin was 6'3 and 150lbs, which makes him a weakling. In a street fight I'll pick a 250lbs beast over a 150lb weakling.

Link? As far as I know much of what you say is speculation. We do know that Zimmerman was following, or at least observing Martin up to the 911 call. After the dispatcher said "we don't need you to do that," I'm not sure we know what happened. Did Z continue following? Did he break off and then M turned to follow Z? What exactly happened, and how do you know it? I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just curious as to what evidence there is.
