I notice they don't show the soldier. I wonder if he is white. If so, this is clearly a case of Stand Your Ground. A white person has no business in a black neighborhood at 3 in the morning. If you see a white guy in a black neighborhood at 3AM, he is there to buy drugs or find a prostitute. I think these 4 young men were only patrolling the streets and stopped and asked this man what the hell he was doing in the hood at 3AM and he got mad and swung first. They only defended themselves from a demented man!

We only have his side of the story. They let him live which is more than what would have happened if one of them had been in a white neighborhood at 3AM.
