Tho China needs to drop that attitude cause it will blow back on them real fast. Some big country in Europe has a dude of Asian family who was adopted and he is the vice president of that "white" country. The name escapes me, sorry.

I think you speak of Phillip Rösler. He was an Vietnamese Kid who was adopted from an German orphanage in Vietnam by his German parents in the early 70's in the midst of the Vietnam War. He is not the German vice president, though. He is the Federal Minister of Economy and Technology in the German Government.

Here is a picture of him

Power and Achievement. Egyptian Empire. America. Africa. Britain. etc, etc, etc...

Teachers don't teach ebonics in any school outside of some specialized course of study. The presumption an English teacher would use this as the basis of a basic language course appears ignorant of the teaching profession.

Your assumption is that EVERY Black person speaks Ebonics. That is the product of some incredibly narrow minded thinking.

The irony of your statement is that I've had the experience of teaching Koreans English over the phone and several have said that I'm the best English teacher that they've ever had.

Behind The Wall - In China, English teaching is a whites-only club
Whether China lead the world or not has nothing to do with their racial perceptions and everything to with the fact the country has 1.3 billion people and one of the fastest growing economies in the world.

Also China's leadership is primarily economic and financial. The world is not beating a path to China's door looking for ways to solve the worlds problems in the way of social equality, human rights, or innovative solutions to ecological problems.

The biggest problem is that China's attitudes about race mirror the demeaning racial stereotypes that they've learned from White Europeans or Americans. Very few Chinese have any actual real interaction with Black Americans.

They probably think black Americans try to blame every problem on white Americans.

I think that's silly to think that Chinese can only pick up their racial stereotypes of blacks from whites. Most likely they have some stereotypes of white Americans also -- so who did they pick those up from?
