Why would a rich guy want more socialism around the world? That would mean fewer places in the world for him to make more money. Does not compute.

Mr. Soros might be described as a social democrat, not a socialist, and not a democrat. Perhaps even a "free thinker."

...We finally have the tip of the iceberg on the Democrats' fundraising success...

....Diane Feinstein (D-CA), Harry Reid (D-NV), and other high profile Democrats are all in bed with Hsu...

...That is better than having to talk about his beloved Democrats whom he has been stealing money for.
The above statements may have basis in truth but they seem more paranoid and delusional than objectively written. Combine that with the irony that if you replace the terms Democrats and Liberals with Republicans and Conservatives (or Neo-conservatives) and Hsu with another name you still have equally accurate statements.

I cannot be the only person to see this can I? Isn't it obvious that both major political parties are absolutely guilty for the same things and paid off/controlled by special interest groups.

If you're going to vote for either one you're just picking your poison. If you want to try to make one group look bad vs the other, then you'll have to ignore all the facts out there for the group you want to defend.

You know why Ron Paul is so skinny, because he won't let special interest groups take him to lunch. :-)

Vote Ron Paul

Really? Name some of the things he has done to "spread freedom"! If you think supporting the ACLU to help make sure pedophiles can spread info on how to molest kids... that is NOT freedom.

I do not worship the GOP. I scold them when need be (example: all the GOP Senators who voted Pro-illegal aliens, I despise these guys). No free passes for them.

He is spreding Socialism and intolerance and he is buying American elections. Do you guys really wnat a foreign national to control US elections? We already have the Chinese government buying elections for Bill Clinton... now you want Soros tokeep doing it through MoveOn???

For example he gave millions to opposition movements in the Socialist Poland that greatly led to the overthrow of Soviet control. I know that to some FOX-Heads the point is wiped out by Soros' opposition to Bush. To me it is simply a continuance of it.

So far what Moveon.org did that upset people so much is they ran a newspaper ad. Why is that so frightening?
Because AMERICANS should control their elections, NOT have some foreign billionary nutcase control the US elections with millions on campaign money. How would you feel if the Saudis or the Iranians were pumping cash like Soros through some shady organization???

I happen to have been the recipient of Mr. Soros' funds--all to the betterment of Americans, not to their detriment--for improving their health care and their lives.

I suggest, with humility, you read more thoroughly, and discover that some liberal ideas undoubtedly benefit you personally.

And as for who Mr. Soros funds, it is a vast number of assorted foundations and even once in awhile the government (read present government).
Name some of the Soros "donations" that have helped Americans!!! How has Soros helped American's healthcare?? Cite examples with links to back it up. Any MoveOn.org links will be disregarded as Soros OWNS MoveOn. ACLU is all the same. Soros funds these guys to the T.

He already has enugh money, so instead of using his money to actually help the poor, he wants to control governments around the world through his "special interest groups" like MoveOn and force governments to do his bidding.

Soros is a one-world government/globalizationt type and he will use his case to buy elections around the world to have politicians do his bidding.

Don't believe me? Then go check up with the Democrats who will do and say anything Soros will have them do. Check out Obama, Harry Reid, Feinstein, and Hillary. These guys are afraid of MoveOn because of it has so much Soros' money and they are afraid of becoming targets of Soros' propaganda machine.

Nirvana-Guy,

I personally received funds from Mr. Soros, and that is evidence enough, don't you think. And I worked in health care for 35 years! As a recent retiree, I no longer make my curriculum vitae available!

And for the record, I am a card-carrying liberal-socialist!

It is NOT the Democrat's fault that Ken Lay died and can't donate to the Republican party anymore! And it's also not the fault of the liberals that so many Republican donors are in prison doing time!

It computes very nicely if you read more about it: Amazon.com: George Soros on Globalization: Books: George Soros
The World According To George Soros - a review by David Korten of Open Society

Can you spell NAU?! Have you noticed by any chance that the world bankers don't care for free enterprise, competition, the old-fashioned principles of the Founding Fathers and the Constitution? What they do want is monopoly, which coincidentally is one of the main characteristics of socialism, which has been promoted throughout the world under different brands for centuries: National Socialism, Platform Planks of Anything sound familiar here?

In whichever country in the world Soros (hint: IMF & World Bank) shows up in one manner or another, you can expect Christiane Amanpour-style news soon thereafter. They're like the "prophets of death," figuratively speaking... many times literally as well.

World Bank Videos Show Tyranny – Watch Video on World Bank Atrocities

Soros is the biggest promoter of "market economy" in Eastern Europe. It's the same brand of "market economy" we're getting better and better taste of here lately, and it's worse than it ever was in Eastern Europe before the engineered "fall" of the previous version of socialism.

Btw, I do understand the concept is hard to grasp and counterintuitive. I personally used to vote for the Dems before I figured what really is going on here and it wasn't long time ago. Now I don't see the point of voting at all.

And MoveOn attacking anyone they disagree with would be different from someone starting threads attacking anyone they disagree with exactly how?
