I say who cares, keep the government out of marriage and the bedroom as long as it is two (or more) consenting adults. It's in the bible as being ok.

I don't think that gays would be against the open marriage type of polygamy.
I know a lot of gay people who are against open marriage/open relationships. As someone who has been in poly relationships, and is in an open relationship now, I have taken a lot of flack from monogamous LGBTQ people. You are just making these statements based on no experience or even statistics to back you up. I don't have statistics either, but I do know from personal experience that the LGBTQ community is not as unanimously open to polygamy/polyamory as you seem to believe.
