House backs $642 billion defense spending bill that adds $8 billion to the military's budget, abandoning the deficit-cutting deal reached by Obama and congressional GOP last year.
I beleive he thinks the automatic cuts as part of the debt limit was a deal. Its was not a budget deal but a deal to have across the board cuts if a deal is not reach by as I recall jan 2013. Its like 1.7 trillion in total cuts.
I would say that's typical of our politicians in general.
For example from the other side, where is the budget from the senate? They agreed to do that when they took office. What happened to paygo?
