I don't think there was any need because they had passed Senate Resolution 511 confirming McCain was a natural born Citizen because he was born to parents that were both American citizens.

how did bennett know mccain's parents were who he claimed them to be? ( mccain does look a lot like malcolm x and/or frank marshall davis )
