I'm not a huge fan of "God Bless America" because I prefer to keep religion (and God) out of politics. "America the Beautiful" is a song I like, but it also has references to the Almighty

Personally, I'm a fan of "This Land is your Land."

This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me.
As I went walking that ribbon of highway
I saw above me that endless skyway
I saw below me that golden valley
This land was made for you and me.
I roamed and I rambled and I followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
While all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me.
When the sun came shining, and I was strolling
And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
A voice was chanting, As the fog was lifting,
This land was made for you and me.
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me.

The song is inclusive of all our people and all the regions of this country.

What says you?

***Also, let's not turn this thread into a nasty one where people insult each other's patriotism for being too liberal/conservative/right-wing/left-wing etc etc etc...

I think it has already been changed it is not officially adopted just yet. I think the public unions and the entitlement crowd is just waiting to adopt it officially. It should be much easier to sing and won't sound quiete so high octave white. Can't wait to hear it sung at the super bowl by the likes of lil Wayne etc

Lightbulb If you could change the nation anthem to another song, what would it be?

"This Land Is Your Land"

Covers coast to coast and includes everyone. No god references.
