Anyone who has such fantasies has never been there.

Europe has far less violence in their cities, particularly gun violence. Nobody claims Europe is without violence, but I feel much safer in Rome or Paris or London at night than I would in Miami, Los Angeles or Chicago.

I think soccer fans can concur things are not as perfect over there as they seem. But each country varies on many things. I have heard they can be more civilized on certain things, and America is more civilized in others.

So, what's going on here? Are there members here who spend their time just looking for this type of story, to post on the forum? Do you devote a chunk of your life just to searching out this stuff? It's so uplifting, you can't imagine how we look forward to these heartwarming tales (and the uplifting discussion that ensues). Interesting mission in life some of you have. I can't help but wonder where all this interest is in injustice when police shoot innocent men of color and claim it was self-defense because they thought they saw a gun, or because the person they were frisking on a random stop-and-frisk happened to turn toward them "in a menacing fashion" (perceived menacing), etc. Where were you all when a Russian immigrant shot Bill Cosby's son on an LA freeway? Why aren't you posting about the cross-burnings that happen from time to time? Your moral outrage seems strangely one-sided.

And which side would that be?

The UK doesn't consider themselves part of the European Continent. They are mugs however.

The funny thing is that 99% of the time they quote the Daily Fail

Posting stories from the daily fail, Roadking? Isn't that beneath you? I suppose I could find some post-apocalyptic tales of America to even it out, but post-nuclear fantasy is unfortunately much more realistic than the fail...
