So the First Lady and the executive at this company that was handed a no-bid contract and failed miserably due to incompetence don't know each other...but both happen to be members of the Princeton Black Alumni Association.
Yeah...probably just a crazy coincidence.
And if a conservative exhibits crony capitalism that means its OK for a liberal to conduct themselves in such a manner?
Why such low standards?
It wasn't a no bid contract. It was a expansion of a existing HHS contract (one that has been in place since before this president was elected). That happens in government at all levels (just review a few DoD contracts).
As I've posted already:
Just "going to school" at the same time as someone else, doesn't mean crapola.
Just because I get my paycheck from NewsCorp, doesn't make me best buddies with Rupert M.
I'm in a College Alumni Association, so I know every member from my class or students that were there when I was?
I have a Monsignor as a neighbor. Does that make me a Catholic?
In the last election cycle CGI Federal gave more (twice as much) to Romney then Obama.
The CGI Group gave 4 times more to Republican groups & Pacs then those associated with the other party.
While CGI Federal, is the biggest contract and is responsible for the architecture of parts of the system, the integration fell to Quality Software Services Inc., a unit of the UnitedHealth Group along with the major component that allowed consumers to register and establish accounts. The registration system, taps into government databases to retrieve users’ personal information, was the source of most of the trouble when the exchange opened.
UnitedHealth, is a major lobbying power (All 41 of their lobbyists in 2012 have previously held government jobs), and gives heavily to both parties. While they gave a little more to the President the last election cycle, they give more to GOP Pacs & leadership committees the Democrat committees. (you can make better direct connections to members of both parties via UnitedHealth.....but that would require unbiased thinking)
Thanks for the resurrection of an old thread from before the 2012 election.
It is a wonderful way of showing people that these old problems with Mr. Obama just persist and a lot of people like to sweep them under the rug and forget about them.
Would you like to sweep this thread under the rug so we stop talking about these old inconsistencies with our president and his family that just persist?

So, OK. There is zero connection with Michelle Obama and this company...just a series of amazing coincidences, got it.
But wasn't Obama going to be the guy to break free of the influence of money in politics?
***Politicians Who Supported Obama “Struck Gold” According The Department Of Energy’s Own Numbers. “At the same time, several politicians who supported Obama managed to strike gold by launching alternative-energy companies and obtaining grants. How much did they get? According to the Department of Energy’s own numbers ... a lot.” (Peter Schweizer, “Obama Campaign Backers And Bundlers Rewarded With Green Grants And Loans,” Newsweek, 11/12/11)
***The Energy Department’s Inspector General Found That Contracts Were Steered To “Friends And Family.” “The Department of Energy’s inspector general, Gregory Friedman, who was not a political appointee, chastised the alternative-energy loan and grant programs for their absence of ‘sufficient transparency and accountability.’ He has testified that contracts have been steered to ‘friends and family.’” (Peter Schweizer, “Obama Campaign Backers And Bundlers Rewarded With Green Grants And Loans,” Newsweek, 11/12/11)
Despite his misleading attack on free enterprise, we won’t hear President Obama criticize his administration’s crony capitalism and its failure to create jobs.
Obama has fooled his faithful into believing that he cares about them. Trust me, they believe that he is genuine.
But, he's just a sleazy politician, giving favors to the very people his constituents despise.
