Powell's foreign policy opinion should be as relevant to Republicans as Zell Miller's or Joe Lieberman's are to Democrats.
The man who served as Secretary of State for the most recent Republican president should be considered irrelevant by all Republicans? lol hope your arms don't hurt from all that tossing under the bus of Republicans who say something sensible
Here's what I like most about Romney's "foreign policy"...
Romney somehow made it through the height of the Vietnam rea w/o having to serve a single day in the military. He has five healthy sons, none of whom has a single day of military service.
But man oh man, does he talk a good fight when the topic of Iran comes up. Guys like him, Dubya, and ChickenDick Cheney make me sick.

Do you think Joe Lieberman's foreign policy is relevant to Dems? What about Zell Miller? There's a reason he left the administration. Parties change, people change. In Lieberman's case, the man is a foreign policy guru, but I dont think many Democrats are concerned with pleasing him.

1) Lieberman's not a Dem anymore. There is a reason he left the PARTY.
2) Lieberman is a "foreign policy guru"??? For Israel maybe.
Fearless prediction: If Romney wins (God forbid), Lieberman will be his Sec of Defense (gotta keep Bibi happy).
I was really disappointed when Powell didn't want to run for President--he's my kind of common sense conservative. As far as Romney goes--I've never been a fan, but I don't have strong feeling about him one way or another on most issues. The exception to that is foreign policy--his saber rattling for no good reason is starting to make me nervous. Good for Powell for telling it like it is.
