No, but acting as though something this frivolous is a major disgrace while mass murder is ignored is no more right.
Frivolous? Is that what you call a fraud of millions of dollars? Mass Murder what the hell are you talking about and what does that have to do with welfare fraud?
Are there not two parties involved in the exchange? Why just blame one?
Who took advantage, who benefited MORE? A SNAP recipient that foolishly sold off the "food stamps" for half the cash value or a small business man that doubled his money?
But we'll create a BULL CRAP thread that lays all the blame on the recipient and ignore the fraud committed by "businessmen". More poor ppl bad, businessmen do no wrong from the wingnuts.

Why don't we just conclude both parties did wrong? Are you a left wingnut?

230 plus posts based on the premise it is only the recipients that are defrauding the system and that is the best you'll do?
Funny how crimes committed by the wealthy, the white collars and the business men are viewed differently than crime by the poor. Steal an apple of a fruit cart calls for hard time but a big important "business man" stealing from the recipient AND the government, deserves a yawn....
Read the OP link again, it says most SNAP fraud is committed by businessmen cashing in instead of selling food.

Geeze..every corrupt program is dismissed by the left with "a drop in the bucket".
Well when almost EVERY social welfare program is corrupt that's a lot of "drops".
That social welfare bucket is overflowing people....OVERFLOWING with corruption.

Why do you turn a blind eye to it ?
Didn't read the article did you. The Snap fraud is mostly a white collar crime, but as long as you can blame the poor recipients instead of the "honest" hard working small business men, so much the better...
SNAP and all welfare programs should be cut now!!! This is infuriating.
Does that include the corn, cotton, and sugar subsidies to agra business? How about the subsidies given to the oil companies? Does that include the tax breaks for all big businesses? GE paid no taxes in 2010. These are all forms of welfare too, ya know.
Or do you just want to cut SNAP and welfare for single mothers and people who have lost their jobs because businesses have gone under or are downsizing?

Tax breaks for business frees up money so they can hire more workers, build on their products and services. Welfare does not benefit anyone but the leeches who suck the tax payer dry. The lazy and poor contribute nothing to society so why should they get benefits?

Who is accepting the cash from the businessmen?
