I raise my hand plenty of times in traffic. Only one finger extended though.

1. People who throw their garbage out of car windows (cig butts included)
2. Women who stop when you are holding the door open for them (at escalators too)
3. People wearing ear buds and not paying attention to their safety

People need to realize that this is 2012 and there is better technology out there than checks. Get a debit card and save us all time. Some of us have better things to do than waste time waiting in checkout lines.

If they were concerned about safety they would dress in "hunter Orange" instead of pretending they were in a biker gang.

Loud car stereo systems- No, I do not appreciate hearing your "music" and when you install the stereo just to get noticed you are a little attention *****. People are looking at you because you are an @sshole.

People going out in public half dressed. I have heard the defense "If you don't like it then don't look" but when your fat @ss is standing in front of me in a check put line and I see more than I would ever want to see we have a problem. Some things once seen can never be unseen.
This one is funny and so true.

Geez, using checks is still a legitimate, socially acceptable form of payment. I don't think it even rates being listed as unacceptable behavior in the etiquette literature.

Use the self-checkout lanes if that bothers you.

It is rude to act as if your time is more important than any one else's time. Writing a check takes about 5 times longer than swiping a card. If you don't want a card just carry cash. Nobody wants to wait the additional minutes required to make sure that everything on your check is correct and then have them check your I.D. You might as well be using the barter system.

How about having it halfway filled out before you get the total? I've seen people not take out their checkbook until after they know what they owe. Same thing goes with cash. You know what your going to pay with, have it out and ready to give to the cashier. Don't start fumbling for your money after you get the amount you owe.

I'm not sick of rude people as much as I'm sick of politically ill-informed people.
