Many of these women who go to these gay bachelorette parties or have them at gay bars are in fact against gay marriage and gay rights.
They simply have them at gay bars to mock them, go up to gay men and say "Oh, I wish you were straight", "Why can't you be straight?", "You're such a waste.", etc, and think it's 'funny'.
I see it all the time, frankly its irritating. So I can see the bar's point.
If lesbians can not get married, then how do they have a bachelorette party?
Gays can still get married and have bachelor/bachelorette parties and even wedding receptions.
They just can't get that piece of paper from the government.

No we can not get married. We can have ceremonies. BIG difference.
One excludes only lesbian events.
The other does not have heterosexual, or homosexual events.
One excludes a group based on sexual orientation. The other excluded both orientations.
I'm confused. The resort accepts both gay and heterosexual guests but will not allow homosexual wedding receptions. The club accepts both gay and heterosexual customers but will not allow heterosexual pre-wedding events.
Please explain how the two are different.
