This is what happens when the GOP pushes out the moderates of their party.

Quote:
Meghan McCain spoke out about some of the hateful backlash she received after criticizing the Republican party in a new column published on Sunday.

McCain caused a small uproar on Thursday when she lamented the "the popularity of Michelle Malkin and Andrew Breitbart," and said that many Republicans treat her like "a freak" for her moderate views. Since then, she has received vicious insults about her weight, looks and family on Twitter.

She reacted to the attacks in a piece for the Daily Beast. "You would think that by now, having gone through a presidential election with my father in 2008, I would be numb to this kind of name-calling," McCain wrote. "But I’m not. It hurts, it rattles me, it (understandably) concerns my mother, and it keeps me up at night."

Go without a job and loose your house for real hurt.
I wonder if it bothers her that Daddy is a war monger who thinks we should keep occupying and killing in the Middle East.
People don't hurt people, words do.

Then get off twitter. No one forces someone to sign up for twitter.
Everyone becomes a "tough guy" on the internet. Get used to it.

Meghan McCain is not "moderate"; she is a big-government Progressive, just like her parents.

First off, big deal. Next, turn off your computer and don't read what they are saying.

Case closed.

Wow, such kindness and civility from the right. Nice to confirm the hate the right spews out daily to those who don't embrace their extremist cause.

The conservative war on women, even their own, is in top gear. They should be proud.

Sorry, what you are seeing is the same kindness and civility displayed on the left, or have you ever gone the Think Progress and read the "CIVIL" comments being posted there.

My solution was neither nasty, or hate filled. I suggested, "Big deal", and then suggested she turn off the computer. Quite frankly I don't care what people say about me, and am quite capable of ignoring what others say.

As for a war on women, it's a 2 front war, from both the left and the right, or have you forgotten what was said about Mrs. Romney by the left?
