Obama snubs Freedom Fighter, Lech Walesa (activist, death, independent, politician)

Walesa did lead the Polish rebellion against the Communist controlled government in Poland and now Obama says he is too political to allow to receive the Polish citizen's award in the White House. I wonder just what part of being a freedom fighter makes a man too political. Could it be the "meaning" of words which Obama talked about in 2008? It was a socialist system Walesa fought against and won.
