This child shouldn't be singing that! Yikes...Way off ... some of these mis-guided folks I don't agree with. Getting a child to sing ain't no homo gonna make it to heaven.. Such an adult topic and getting a child to sing this is disturbing to me.
Plus the statement is not true...Jesus can wash away any sin .
OK - the song is in poor taste - especially for a little kid to be singing it - but two things:
(1) If the kid was signing a song putting gays in a positive light - the gay army would be cheering - and supporting the kid. If you are complainng that this kid is being "indoctrinated" - but support California teaching elementary school kids about homosexuals or kindergardeners being read "Heather Has Two Mommies" - then you are a hypocrite.
(2) The idea behind the song is biblically sound - 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolators nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offendors nor theives nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God".
The song was in bad taste - but it fit with biblical teaching. Do those who are getting up in arms over the message rather then singing the song itself think that the church should not be able to teach that message - that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God? You are treading on the 1st Amendment if you would support such legal sanction.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life". - John 3:16
Keep it up Christians--let your full trashiness keep coming through so we can all see it.
Considering not all Christians are anti gay I'm surprised that everyone seems to Jump on the Anti Gay band wagon wrt Christians. And there are Gay Pastors and Ministers out there. Lucky were not in Iran or Saudi Arabia where the Muslims could execute you for being Gay.

But that is not the way it is, each religious person, feels there relgion is the one, the best, the one you should believe in, and that is where our problems begin.
The problem with these books, the Bible and the Quran specifically, is they speak of good deeds as being the root of salvation in one instance and slaughter and killing in the next.

And as evident by recent news, there are certainly Christians out there who wish they could execute gays.
Conservatives from both religions aren't much different ideologically. Christians just happen to dominate the West, where secular laws keep them under control.

I don't believe you can compare the two. I can't find any evidence of Homosexuals ever being executed in the West by the state, even going back 2 Centuries when the government was more religous. There is up to 4000 executions in Iran alone since 1979.
Now I could see that song being performed at some drunken frat party, but it is really peculiar coming from a little kid at a church. It seems like an off color comedy skit.
Why do secular liberals all of a sudden care what goes on in churches? If you don't attend, you don't have to worry about what's being preached. You don't believe in any of that crap, right?

Most liberals are Christians, not atheists. Opposing the psychological child abuse of children by religious extremists is something to be concerned about.
