A 1996 immigration crackdown law gives Florida the right to access the Homeland Security database known as SAVE, which stands for “Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements.” The federal law provides for “customer agencies to use SAVE for any legal purpose such as background investigations and voter registration.”
The words in that quote come from page 12 of Homeland Security’s own booklet on SAVE. So why won’t DHS heed the law and its own booklet and share its info?
It won’t say. “Talk to DOJ,” a Homeland Security official said in an email Friday
It is allowing early voting and motor registering that is allowing many of those dead people to vote. I would think that a dishonest person could vote for at least 10 dead people if he had their names and knew where to have the votes sent. I think we just have to have people vote at the polls only or have election judges come to their houses to hand out ballots.
I don't understand how peole do this. What is it about voting early that allows people to use the names of dead people? Even if you had the name of a dead person, how would you know where they are supposed to vote?
It could get real interesting especially since Florida found 53,000 dead names still on the books. That should be enough to swing a close election for the Dems.
Or swing it for the Republicans, epecially now that they have purged many living Democrats who are citizens.
Why do Republicans seem to be so anti-democratic? That is the question that needs to be asked...and answered.
Oh contrare....I'd say republicans ARE being democratic. We are demanding that our elections be free of voter fraud. Showing ID is NOT an infringement of rights....that is a RIDICULOUS argument. That would insulate fraudulent conspiracies to tilt our elections, and then the process of democracy is compromised.
I would like YOU to answer a question. What is the infringement of a person's rights if they are asked to show ID so that they may vote? What right is being violated??
I don't expect an answer, because you undoubtedly don't have one.
Or swing it for the Republicans, epecially now that they have purged many living Democrats who are citizens.
All those people...not just living democrats (which is a preposterous statement) will be getting notices to re-register....FAR ahead of the elections.
It is a small inconvenience to insure the integrity of our voting process and to INSURE that groups like ACORN aren't allowed to pull what they have in recent elections.
