When I was a precinct committee person, I was provided by my party or a candidate a copy of the county's list of registered voters in my precinct. I verified every one of them. Names and addresses. TAfter the election, I checked to see who voted. It was very easy.
What is all the fuss about? If the Florida Republicans want to catch voter fraud, each precinct committee person could do it in 2 days before the election and a 1/2 day after.
One county made an effort to verify each name that was listed for their county. Their findings? Only 5% of the claimed voters were actually legit. FIVE. PERCENT.
Eddie, the accuracy of any list is going to be dependent on the accuracy of the data. Garbage in, garbage out. So I'll ask again why is the DOJ stonewalling Florida preventing them from accessing this information which apparently they are legally entitled to begin with for this purpose?
You're using an example caused by poor data yet it's the actions of the DOJ which is preventing them from getting good data? Florida is doing the right thing trying to purge ineligible voters, it's the Obama administration throwing eligible voters under the bus to protect ineligible ones.

Nope! The correct answer would be to support Florida going ahead until the DOJ pulls it's head out of it's azz and realizes they have more to lose by stonewalling Floridas attempts to verify legitimate voters than they do in maintaining the staus quo with reliance upon the ILLEGAL vote.
Were the DOJ to act impartially ALL current laws would be ENFORCED instead of the cherry picking that's currently being done my those who swore an oath. This simple fact would render unnecessary the individual states finding it imperative to perform the FED'S job for them.

If Hoemland Security had been cooperative and provided Florida with the data they requested it wouldn't be an issue. If the Obama administration is so concerned about eligible voters being effected why haven't they provided data that would help eliminate false positives?
The answer is simple, because that data would swell the amount identified as ineligible. They don't care about these eligible voters, their only concern is keeping the ineligible ones voting.

Yep! Until the Fed's agree to furnish the database info they have that would solve the problem. Should Florida simply roll over and acquiesce to the Fed's/DOJ refusing to co-operate because they fear a loss of votes from the illegals?
LOGIC: The states are having to do the job incorrectly because 1/ the fed's refuse to do the job they took an oath to do. & 2/ they refuse to provide requested database info that would allow the state to do the job correctly.
More states should put the fed's behind the eight ball on this whole issue of illegalities of ALL things from illegal immigrants to illegal voters.
YOU should damn well demand they perform the role they took an oath to; why aren't you?

The answer is to question why the DOJ is blocking Florida from accessing data that according to Homeland Securities rules is there for that purpose. They are hindering Florida's efforts to make sure that there is no false positives and those registered illegally are identified.
