Provisional ballots, for those that got caught in the red tape, work really well to express your right to vote. Everything is checked out and you are placed onto the registered voters list.

It takes about 3-5 minutes longer to vote, because you have to fill out an affidavit.

If you take a PASSPORT issued by the USA to the polling place that PROVES you are a citizen and eligible to vote, why the hell should you have to fill out a "provisional ballot" and then go some other place miles away to prove to some other government lackey that you are a citizen? If you walk into a polling place to vote and there is any question about your citizenship, your passport should settle it there and then.

I AREE.

Obama is the closest president we have had to Hitler or Stalin in the US-
a puppet ideologue who sacrifices the word of law and the Constitution in exchange for marxist political gains.

Fortunately, the independents have realized his ruse and will eject him from office. The chilling effect of Obama's four year rule is the blind obedience that the left has displayed in the presence of abject tyranny and an assault on personal liberties.

Obama will lose, as a matter of fact, given his dismal political failures. That result is obvious to everyone, except liberals. One is left to wonder for our future- if we have an element of our population who are no longer concerned about the prosperity of the nation and its citizens in exchange for marxist political ideology, it begs the question as to whether these elements should be a componant of another nation who embraces servitude at the expense of liberty.

Marxists- what do you want? Servitude or liberty? History has shown that you are a fool. Do you want the US to suffer the same misery of other foolish nations simply to satisfy the curiosity of unenlightened and foolish "marxists"?

Friend to 50,000+ people who voted twice in 2008.
These people voted in both NY and Florida.

That is lawbiding to you?

How about the 100,000 who were either CRIMINAL ILLEGAL TRESPASSERS who voted in 2008?

Criminal trespassers who vote are committing yet another crime other then trespassing on our land.

How about the thousands of dead people who voted? Or the liberals who stole their ID to vote?

Wow. I didn’t know that 50,000 plus people voted twice or I didn’t know 100,000 people were criminals or illegal trespassers in 2008. Please provide evidence so I can call the authorities.

Oh you can’t because you made that up. My bad…

Oh, Obama is not even a leftist. He's a moderate.

If you think the voting situation going on in Florida right now indicates that Obama wants to be a dictator, that seems to be a bit dramatic.

I noticed that you completely ignored the issue of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Florida has five counties which cannot do anything in terms of voter/registration/issues with PRECLEARANCE under that law. You see, that is the VOTING RIGHTS ACT of 1965. That was a long time ago, but it's relevant to this thread:

"The Act established extensive federal oversight of elections administration, providing that states with a history of discriminatory voting practices (so-called "covered jurisdictions") could not implement any change affecting voting without first obtaining the approval of the Department of Justice, a process known as preclearance.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_Rights_Ac

There's a reason why five counties in Florida fall under the preclearance requirement. You should study and learn.

It's not about Marxism. It's about equal voting rights.

Take a look at what shows up at a South Texas stock water tank in dry weather.
For those of you that have never hunted in South Texas , sometimes we post
motion detector cameras at our feeders/tanks to see what is going on. Checkout this sequence at a water tank.

Same thing this time around. Instead of only non-citizens being removed from the rolls, the system is flawed (people can make arguments on whether the flaws are on purpose or not, but its flawed nonetheless) and actual citizens are being removed as well. Several Florida papers had stores on eligible voters that were removed from the rolls as "non-citizens" when in fact they were citizens and eligible to vote.
Sounds like they need to clean up their data.
