In 1989, it was "recognition of same-sex couples as registered partners." As far as "marriage, based on civil marriage," it's "under consideration."

Um okay tell that to the brand new owner of a "Whimsical Watches Unisex Gay Pride Black Skin Leather and Gold Tone Watch" courtesy of Walmart.com!

gay pride - Walmart.com

Just kidding I didn't buy it it's too tacky looking but the point is that wal-mart actually does sell gay related merchandise.

No but I do that Walmart is a very socially conservative company. It shows all the time. And they are quite picky about the items they sell. They do not sell M rated games or CDs with parental "explicit" material. They do not even allow minors to buy pefectly legal items such as most over the counter drugs or items such as engine cleaner (even if you are 17 with a car). However they DO sell lots of guns and ammo. So NO, it is very very unlikely you will ever see gay themed items in a Walmart store anytime soon.

I stand corrected. But do note those items are NOT in the store. Just on line.
