You knock down Occupy protesters and don't mention the crazy Tea Party folks that showed up to rallies with weapons in full sight? OK. Whatever.
You mean the famous pic of the black man that was cropped to not show the fact that he's black, legally carrying a firearm per his 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms?
Or the few other pics of other people peacefully assembling and legally carrying firearms?
I don't think anyone would disagree with the idea that there are "extremists" of various ilk amongst us. However, the thread title is nonsensical given this from the body of the text:
Quote:
The FBI states leftist extremist groups "generally profess a revolutionary socialist doctrine and view themselves as protectors of the people against the "dehumanizing effects" of capitalism and imperialism."
By definition, Democrats (members of the US Democratic political party) are avid supporters of both capitalism and imperialism, and therefore, opponents of any kind of socialism.
Oh, those Tea Party folks that spit at people walking up the steps to Capitol Hill.
Look, you can find morons in ANY group. So, this discussion is not a productive one.
No one spit on anyone and that has been repeatedly, repeatedly debunked but you leftists keep trotting that old chestnut out now matter how times you're called on it. Stop being willfully obtuse.
FYI those would most likely be semi automatic weapons. Automatic weapons can be purchased in some states but you better have some major cash as in you could buy a new car for the same price.
LEFT-WING GROUPS: The FBI states leftist extremist groups "generally profess a revolutionary socialist doctrine and view themselves as protectors of the people against the "dehumanizing effects" of capitalism and imperialism." From 1960 to the mid-1980s, most acts of extremist violence were committed by leftist factions like the Weather Underground. A wellspring of disaffected, radical youth with ideological roots in the civil rights, women's liberation, and anti-war movements provided these groups with much of their militant fervor. However, broad left-wing violence has been in a marked decline since the fall of the Soviet Union and a successful FBI infiltration campaign in the mid-1980s.
RIGHT-WING GROUPS: [B]The most recent swell of extremist violence began to emerge from right-wing militants in the late-1980s and 1990s. According to a 2005 FBI report on terrorism, these groups, which are "primarily in the form of domestic militias and conservative special interest causes, began to overtake left-wing extremism as the most dangerous, if not the most prolific, domestic terrorist threat to the country." Right-wing extremists champion a wide variety of causes, including racial supremacy, hatred and suspicion of the federal government, and fundamentalist Christianity. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks the activities of hate groups, suggests militia groups declined every year since 1996 but have seen a dramatic resurgence since 2008.

I just have to quote myself periodically here to keep the gaping hole that I blew into this thread apparent to all.
And while I'm at it, I'd also like to add that anyone with an IQ over room temperature would recognize that you can't equate small groups of dangerous left-wing radicals with the Democratic party. The same applies to dangerous right-wing radicals and Republicans.
And if you're going to tell me with a straight face that left-wing radicals do represent all Democrats, then I'm going to come back and tell you that you registered Republicans on here are all to blame for the deaths of the Oklahoma City bombing.
I can think of one reason, I would vote for Obama.
If it would keep anyone you would support out of the White House, that would be reason enough.
I would have voted Buddy Roemer (even though I don't agree with him 100%) or would have seriously considered John Huntsmen (I voted for him in the primary) over Obama, but the rest of castaways that the party presented, not a snowballs chance in hell.
Oh, those Tea Party folks that spit at people walking up the steps to Capitol Hill.
I've watched that video numerous times and see nothing that would indicate he was spit on other than his acting job. There is cop right there, why didn't they see anything? Clearly if he was spit on the cop would have seen the act itself or spit on his face. Why doesn't he turn top the cop and say "That man just spit on me?"
Funny, I watched the short video and DID NOT see or HEAR any mention of the Tea Party.
Really, you couldn't figure it out with the close up of "Joe Miller" on the car, or on the "Joe Miller" signs and t-shirts the people were carrying/wearing?
