Molly's Middle America: Private & Government Jobs Gained & Lost Under Obama (April 2012)

In these troubled times, we should focus on keeping people in their job, regardless of what that job might be. I think it's pretty obvious that Obama's policies and procedures have caused this atrocity. Under Obama, people who weren't needed, were cut. All that money spent on them, that we pay for - through taxation -, isn't being unnecessarily spent. That's just harsh, man. It's like, the government thought it was wasteful or not useful or something.

For shame, Obama. For shame.

Check this out..... Obama.

Yeah, during George Bush's first term 900,000 governemnt jobs were created. How about that, Mr. "Jobs man." How about getting that government bloated again? Baby needs a new pair of shoes.
You're kidding, right? This is a joke post? How can Obama keep or increase gov't jobs when the GOP keeps shoving budget cuts down his throat? This is a prank OP, right?

The Federal Reserve, CBO and the IMF are part of your big GOP conspiracy now?

Government jobs come at a cost pulling from imagined tax payer dollars which in reality go to the printing press at the Fed Reserve. This is not sound economic policy just as building bridges is not causing economic growth. It is spending money we don't have not producing anything of real value.

Actually to say we are spending money we don't have is an understatement.

The bottom line is this is exactly what these politicians want. They have sold us out. This is why they have not adjusted the currency to reality backing it with an asset-based currency. Sure it would decrease our purchasing power but Production would move back over here. Let's face it, 6 so trillion dollars in debt is a BROKE nation. When one is broke they cut spending.

The whole nation just got a whole lot less wealthy, even if they are attempting to keep the ball rolling at the printing press trading low wages with China.

Add to this a populace that has been so ignorant of all of this.

What they want in the end is a Global economy. This is all part of the plan for the big boy elite to consolidate the nations increasing their power.
It's actually Biblical prophecy fulfilling before our eyes, but people would rather have their eyes and ears shut to blind them from reality.

Just heard Ted Turner talking about Overpopulation. When these people start talking like this people should be paying attention, but back to walmart, American Idol is on, get a cheeseburger and eat myself into a wheel chair cause my neighbor is going to pay for it.

I'm so glad the TV keeps telling me we're free. Maybe I'll play farmville on facebook for a couple hours while I receive my welfare check. Maybe Romney will come in to save the Day. Or Obama for that matter.

Unless revenues increase at a similar pace, such spending will cause federal debt to grow to unsustainable levels. If policymakers are to put the nation on a sustainable budgetary path, they will need to let revenues increase substantially as a percentage of gross domestic product, decrease spending significantly from projected levels, or adopt some combination of those two approaches.

Mr. Bernanke, the Federal Reserve chairman, warned on Wednesday that “the federal budget appears to be on an unsustainable path,” but also recognized that an “exceptional increase” in the deficit had been necessary to ease the pain of recession.

“The most indebted economies are approaching debt limits beyond which their fiscal positions may become unsustainable,” said Jonathan D. Ostry, Deputy Director of the IMF’s Research Department, and author of one of the reports.
General government debt in the G-20 advanced economies surged from 78 percent of GDP in 2007 to 97 percent of GDP in 2009 and is projected to rise to 115 percent of GDP in 2015.

well, obama certainly is trying to spend his way to more jobs, or something. (from the burning platform):

When a government has unsolvable domestic problems, they try to distract the willfully ignorant masses by proactively creating foreign conflicts based upon false pretenses. General Douglas MacArthur understood this danger to our liberty.

“I am concerned for the security of our great Nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within.”

Economic Opportunity Cost
“You can’t say civilization don’t advance… in every war they kill you in a new way.” – Will Rogers

Any doubt that the Military Industrial Complex is as strong as ever should be removed after examining Obama’s 2012 Budget which has $900 billion dedicated to our military machine. We spent $370 billion in 2001, $620 billion in 2006, and now this liberal anti-war Democrat from Illinois is spending 45% more than that war monger Bush who was burned in effigy by the anti-war Democrats during Iraq War protests.

It seems both parties are war pigs.

“We will bankrupt ourselves in the vain search for absolute security.” -Dwight D. Eisenhower

When did they pass a budget ? And how did it get through the Dem Congress ?

The losses are mostly at the state and local level. Census aside, the federal government is pretty much flat. The only way to stop the losses at the state and local level would be another Stimulus and there is no support for that.
