This guy is becoming competition for Comedy Central.

You can't smoke tobacco just about anywhere in NYC, and you'll pay 10 bucks a pack for your smokes, but he thinks it should be OK to smoke all the weed you want?

So...taking marijuana smoke into your lungs isn't unhealthy, but tobacco smoke is?

What a city! No smoking, no trans-fats, no salt, no big sodas! That might make you unhealthy...but by God pot is good for you so go right ahead!

No, this isn't a thread about legalizing marijuana (I think it should be) so please don't turn it into one. This thread is about Bloomberg and his idiocy....again.

Don't know how you got all that from the article. Seems to me the gov. just wants to decriminalize possession of 25 grams or less of pot and the mayor concurs.

I am against any bans on anything except for crazy things like nuclear weapons, but truthfully marijuana is safer than tobacco, trans-fat, excessive salt and soda..

First off this proposal isn't being made by Bloomberg, he is agreeing with a proposal made by Governor Cuomo (and its a good one) to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana.

On top of that, weed is less unhealthy than all of the other stuff you mentioned.

A little company named Kel-Tec did a gag a few years back in honor of him. Purple, pink, baby blue....you name it. If it was ugly they made a handgun in that color just to irritate him. I loved it! LOL

What exactly would you lose if this law was enacted? Cigarettes are legal, just as long you smoke those cancer sticks away from people. Now they're decriminalizing certain amounts of weed. Sounds like a step in the right direction for me.
