Issa dropped a bombshell in the Fast and Furious investigation
Issa has fished out some new information about all the foolishness of all this crap and sure enough it appears to me that he wins, in the end. It seems that there is a speech or debate clause to deal with and that he has released some information that came to the Ranking Member of the committee about some wire tap evidence. Releasing it on the floor of the House is debate so is usable.
Is President Obama Personally Responsible for the Death of U.S. Border Agent Brian Terry?
Now that Obama has invoked Executive Privilege to prevent disclosure of the Fast and Furious documents, we need to wonder: Is he personally responsible for Brian Terry's death?
He's clearly hiding something otherwise he wouldn't have invoked Executive Privilege.
If he is NOT personally responsible for Agent Terry's death, then why is he hiding the documents? And why isn't the media demanding he release the documents?
Yes, he is personally responsible because the buck stops at the Oval Office. Likewise, he's personally responsible for the loss of our military personnel in action because he is the Commander in Chief. And yes, he can invoke "executive privilege" under the separation of powers. United States v. Nixon, 483 U.S. 683 (1974). There is the end of the matter.
Except for Obama who passes the blame as if it were a gift.
Well, you are right but I still believe the American people and the Terry family have an absolute right to know the extent of Obama's involvement in killing Brian Terry, not to mention the 200+ dead Mexicans.
There are no "absolute" rights; there are only legal rights. Get used to it.
Well, Wendell, I can promise you this: at some point, the American people and the Terry family WILL find out the truth of Oblama's role in Fast and Furious.
We know what happened. Bureaucratic inefficacy prevented proper administration of agents duties up the chain of command including but not limited to culpability of the various legal channels normally considered assets by agents on the ground.
