You can't handle the truth.
And you don't know the truth.

So? You make choices and take your chances.

I know that sexual preference is a matter of choice - not biology.

Exactly. You know nothing. You make up crap and call it a fact and you believe it.

That's called "clueless".

What do you claim I am "making up"?

If you're an expert, please give us your dissertation.

Because to date - there is no evidence to support a claim that sexual preference has biological causes.

Good point. I've said it before, but I'll say again that anyone who "chooses" which gender to be attracted to is either bisexual or in deep denial. Oh yeah, and studies show that women are more fluid in their orientation (in other words more likely to be bisexual) than males.

People seem to forget all of this, or maybe didn't realize it in the first place. But wasn't this all discussed back in the '40s with Kinsey's research? I've always thought his sexuality rating scale made sense, showing basically that few people are 100% gay or straight - most only lean in one direction, and a good many fall somewhere in the middle. Sexuality is more complicated than these simple labels, and not everything is as black & white as people here would like us to believe.
