During a Wednesday talk at an event honoring her 25 years of service in the House of Representatives, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi highlighted some of her favorite and most memorable moments, largely concentrating on achievements made with George W. Bush and making no mention of anything she was proud of or accomplished with President Barack Obama.
Pelosi gushed about how Bush is “really a lovely man.”
Contrary to liberal conventional wisdom, Barack Obama is not revered in Washington DC. Democrats simply put up with him. They don't engage him. They don't relish his presence. They don't seek to be besties. Why do you think he takes every opportunity provided to him to leave town? Because he's not a popular figure here, and he knows that. His favorite destinations are liberal bastions where the populace slobbers all over themselves to get a picture with him. Outside of tourists, Washington DC is not Barack Obama Town.
Nancy Pelosi is saying what many before her have said. George W. Bush is an honorable, straight shooter, an everyone respects that.
I am convinced any one person who sits in the WH and in charge. Any one sititing there, would not be liked by all ever. I am surpirsed though to hear her utter those words.
Maybe deep down she see's the light too, infact maybe she was blindsighted by the light!
So easy for everyone to say, Bush he sucked as President. Put your very shoes in his place, and imagine if you will, the horrors of learning about Sept 11, and how you as President would feel. Sure anyone can say they would of done this, or handled it like that. But words are easy to say, until you sitting in that Man's shoes. None of you know how you would handle the situation, unless you have a crystal ball about yourself and that day.
I do not agree with ever most of the time with what Pelosi has to say.

I have a problem with Bush going into Iraq unnecessarily, and feeding Congress and the public bad or bogus information to get us there.
I have a problem with Bush cutting taxes, and increasing spending.
Those are the main faults I see with him and his administration.

I don't have a problem with his feelings on 9/11.
And your being fair, i respect that.
