Congress prohibited the federal government from funding the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), but that hasn’t stopped the Obama administration from funneling nearly half a billion dollars to the controversial group’s founder.
... the Treasury Department awarded $445 million to the Illinois Hardest Hit Program, the director of which is Joe McGavin, former director at ACORN:
... The funding is part of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). A Treasury Department spokeswoman said 18 states total qualified for grants, which were dispersed to state housing finance agencies.
That was part of $7.6B that went out through the Treasury Department program to help the “unemployed or substantially underemployed” make their mortgage payments.
Who is McGavin?
In early 2011 McGavin was appointed as director of Hardest Hit. Before that he was director of counseling for ACORN Housing in Chicago and operations manager for a Chicago ACORN offshoot called Affordable Housing Centers of America (AHCOA).
I'm confused. Your thread says that this is an ACORN director whereas your post says former director. Are you mistaken here or lying?
In terms of the money that was awarded, was there anything done differently from the norm in terms of how this money was awarded?
It seems like there's much to do about nothing here other than you dislike organizations that get people out to vote.
Since you are so adamant, please link the posts to which you refer. Many might be interested in reading the comments you claim.
Personally, I've never personally witnessed evidence of your claim that:
"Because according to many conservatives nigras, spics, mexicans, and others shouldn't be allowed to vote."
We will wait to see your links,....or not.....
Let me make it clear because you seem somewhat dim witted. I specifically stated that my world is not limited to this forum and therefore read and hear things beyond the realm of "city-data". If you want to hear conservatives advise white people to never vote for a Black Man, White people calling the President a "Ni66er", conservatives calling the President a monkey and how Mexicans will just show up where ever you plant grass, simply go to "you tube".

Didn't figure you had reputable links to support your claim.
Those who can't support their statements usually resort to personal attack of adversaries rather than admit their stupidity. Yours is a case in point.
Must really suck to live in your world, so crawl back under the bridge, little man.....

Thanks for proving how dim witted you are. I suspected as much, your response just provided the evidence.
Just so other posters with more brain cells than you won't fall behind, let me re-iterate. "Go to youtube, they have videos stating everything I stated".
What more can one expect from the typical white conservative...
