I would elaborate more but it's a simple question. Why do people care what others are doing with their own lives when it doesn't even effect them? I think a lot of social issues stem from people not minding their own business acting as if they can control the lives of complete strangers.

As long as my tax dollars don't go toward their stupid mistakes, have at it...I don't care what they do!

Agree with bluemonday. If my tax dollars are not paying for what they choose to do with their lives, no problem. If my tax dollars are paying for it, then it does indeed affect me.

Not just poor choices. Just people who live different lifestyles from others.

Don't know bro...... the tabloids are more popular than ever

They make their living off telling everyone other peoples business.

Personally, I think it is funny when someone does something immoral and gets embarrassed publicly......

My tax dollars go towards bluemonday's welfare, for example. I should get a say in dictating his/her life, choices and everything otherwise deemed personal.

A lot of people feel a need to control others because they are fearful of change and insecure about themselves.

Hey, you just contradicted yourself...you are trying to tell me what to do by that statement!

And actually, I've been working since I am 11, almost everyday of my life except for vacations or sick time. I'd like to know what it is like having things paid for, but I have this thing called pride that won't allow me. In the meantime, I am tight with the money, and I don't care what others do if I am not paying!

Some people do and some people don't. Sometimes caring about the greater-good means that you appear to care about what individuals are doing. Some issues or problems can't be tackled for all of society without focusing on what individuals do.

However, like I said, some people do and some don't. Sometimes those that do are pretty annoying and SHOULD not care or mind their own business. But that depends on the issue at hand.

I sometimes in passing note that I do not wear a full face helmet with riding my motorcycle (I do wear a helmet) in a motorcycle forum just to watch the gnashing of teeth.

It's funny how those who regularly choose to ride a motorcycle will then call the actions of others unsafe. LOL
